Duplicate email notices upon new registration?

I am probably missing something as obvious as a checkbox in my settings but cannot figure out why I get new registration email notices in pairs. Thanks in advance.

Do you, perhaps, have two admin accounts? (A good idea, as it happens)

If so, you'll get two mails.

I do, and now that you pointed it out I was able to verify through the email addresses the registration notice was being sent to. I had the second account forwarding mail to the first account's email address, so the messages looked identical.
