Forum root

Were is my forum's root. I was thinking in the cPanel but were in it?

Its where all your SMF folders such as Avatars, Packages, Sources, Themes, etc are along with the files Settings.php, SSI.php, etc.

That is considered your forum's root directory.

there are two of them though. How do I know which is the main root
# Web Root (public_html/www)
# Public FTP Root (public_ftp)

its the First one. the Web Root (public_html/www).

Public FTP Root is for ftp: ftp://yoursite.com

Your website doesn't run off of FTP. That is file transfer protocol.

one more question. When uploading stuff to it. There are many files like the first file is named
Comechat then inside of it there are more files one named admin
and inside admin are the stuff needed to upload I was wondering for installing it if I have to make it just how it is in my desktop like
the first file comechat then the other files

I'm not sure what comechat is. I'm assuming its a chat box, you are going have to ask the author of it though.

Do you possibly mean cometchat?

I have never worked with it. You are going to have to ask them for support cause I'm not sure how or if you even have to install it.
