Can i put my logo on the center top of my forum ?

It depends on the theme you are using. Can you link us to your forum and the theme you are using?

Normally you add a <center>code</center> tag or alignment tag near the logo code in index.template.php

That should not be used because it is such an out dated tag and it has been depricated

To center the logo, you should do it at the index.css file better. Please have a look at this post

You can put whatever type of logo you want. Just go to:
Admin>Current Theme>Logo image URL

Just fill in the URL path to your logo, such as http://yoursite.com/images/logo.gif
