how to fix a crashed forum?

My SMF 2 RC3 forum crshed after uninstalling a mo from it. it now gives me this error

Looks like you uninstalled a portal , but it did not uninstall properly.

1. Parse manual installation instruction from mods site,
2. Edit the files , and remove the changes made by this mod.

yup i did remove a portal..

i will give it a shot "looks like i just need to get rid of line 68"...

there can be more than one edit which didnt revert.

woot.....! just downloaded the index file and deleted line 68..reuploaded!

fixed my prob..
