For as far as I know, such an error is caused by mod_security on your server. You should contact your host about it.

If you're only getting this with the pain in the bum that is Internet Explorer, it's possible that the HTTP 1.1 setting is enabled.

If what Xen suggested doesn't work, try this:

In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.

In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.

Click to clear the HTTP 1.1 check box, and then click OK.

Test to determine if the issue is resolved. If the issue is resolved, do not complete the remaining steps. If the issue is not resolved, go to the next step.

In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.

In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.

Click to clear the Show friendly HTTP error messages check box.

Try to view a Web page to reproduce the error message and to receive a new, more descriptive error message.

Ah yaah .The Mod_Security is turned on .

But is there any other way to fix the problem ?

Update : Now i contacted them and they saying that they can disable mod security .but it may lead to some problems ....please read below
Quotewe can disable mod_security support for your domain, but this may lead to iframe, sql injection attacks on your forum and we could not do anything if it happens. please confirm to do this at your own risk

so what i do ?

Not a serverexpert, do please don't take my answef for granted.

mod_security protects your site indeed. For badly configured scripts this is ok. However, SMF is safe enough to disable mod_security. The problem with mod_security is, it's so strict that it won't allow certain actions from webbased applications.

Your host is willing to look into this, which is good. :) He might be willing to take a look at this post:

And the follow up link here:

Hope that helps (a litte)  ;)
