How to change the size of an external inserted image

Hi. Somebody could please tell me how I can do to the change the size of an external image when I'm using de BBcode to insert it into the post?

[img ]hxxp:www.url.com/image.jpg [nonactive][ /img]

Hi, and welcome to SMF :)

You can resize linked images like this

[img width=123 height=456]http://url.tld/image.jpg[/img]
