I think there is mod for this, but i cant find that after upgrading my forum, i want to add Google webmasters/tool meta tag for verification.

Try emulation.

Backup, first, though.

You should backup before adding mods, anyway.

Try the html method atleast you should not get confused. Just upload it directory and confirm it.

it has to be added after <head> in index.template.php , as by doing that tag will appear on each page and google verifies it easily .
