in admin panel this is error at bottom
"invalid function call load.php, error  :  line 273

Please help me to fix this error...

Thanks in advance
Peace...

kat

If you attach said file, load.php, we can take a look at it.  :)

Sad_Angel

Thanks K@ for early reply, currently the forum is down due to maintenance of the server:D

load.php from source, where shall i upload/display it..?
Peace...

kat

Just attach it to your next post. :)

You can probably get it, using FTP, even if the server is under maintenance. You might not, though.

Sad_Angel

here is that load.php file.
Sorry for late reply, please help to fix this
Thanks in advance
Peace...

xenovanis

There's nothing wrong with line 273. Can you access your forums errorlog and post back the complete errormessage?
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

CapadY

An error in load.php is nearly almost caused bij an code problem in one of the template files.
The problem is to find out which template file it is.

Please, don't PM me for support unless invited.
If you don't understand this, you will be blacklisted.

kat

Can we have a URL for your forum, assuming it's open for guest views?

Sad_Angel

Please help, how to bring my  forum back.

Thanks in Advance

Sad_Angel

Sorry, but i am unable to remove those ads, crap..
Peace...

xenovanis

How did you try to repair the database? Through cPanel or phpMyAdmin?

My best guess is to parse the mod (go to the modsection where you downloaded this mod, in the right upper corner select your version of SMF and click "Parse") and see if there's any leftover code from the mod in any of your forum files.
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Sad_Angel

I tried to repair it in cPanel....

all topics are visible but someone enters there is nothing except that error.
Please just visit and view topics in 1st board..

There is no way to fix this.?
Peace...

xenovanis

Try using the repair option in phpMyAdmin. You should be able to access phpMyAdmin from cPanel.

What is phpMyAdmin?
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Sad_Angel

Hi! I tried every heck, but its not fixing.
Please please help me to fix this error. When i enter topics to read thread it shoes this error..

Fatal error: Call to undefined function template_ad_position() in /home/satish36/public_html/Sources/Load.php(2127) : eval()'d code on line 640

Now, my all post, topics  are just lost.

I tried repairing tables in phpmyadmin but no effect at all, I don't know what to do next.

Please help...

Thanks

Best Regards
Satish
Peace...

kat

I think you'll find that that eval message is masking the real error.

If you can get into admin, try installing this mod:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2054

Then, the error should change to something more helpful, with any luck and a following wind.

Sad_Angel

Thanks K@ for reply, its not showing support to RC3(There will be no 2.0 RC3 version, because this feature is default feature in SMF 2.0 RC3), should i install it anyway?
Peace...

xenovanis

Admin -> Server Settings -> General ->  Disable evaluation of templates

I see you're using a custom theme.  Is the error there when you switch to default?

If it's in Sources, chances are it'll affect all themes.

Really, some of the code has to be somewhere, either in a default templatefile or a Sourcefile.

All files affected by this mod should be checked manually for any leftover code.

xenovanis

Are you kidding?  :)

The most easy way would be to upload all files from the large upgradepackage again. This should kill the mod, however it'll uninstall any other mods as well.

Another way would be to parse the mod and check all mentioned files, to see if there's any leftover code from this mod. Where did you download it?
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Sad_Angel

Peace...

xenovanis

Okay, try this.

Here are the manual parsinstructions for this mod.
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=parse;mod=2557;attach=144396;smf_version=2.0_RC3

For the default theme, and all other themes you have installed, see if they contain a file named Boardindex.template.php.

In that file search for this code:

echo '<br class="clear" />';
template_ad_position('above_info_center');

template_info_center();

It it is there, replace that part with

template_info_center();

Next, check the file Display.template.php. Search for this code:

$message['id'] == $context['first_message'] ? template_ad_position('inside_first_post') : '', $message['body'], '</div>

If found, replace it with

$message['body'], '</div>

And search for

if (!isset($msg_counter))
$msg_counter = 0;
if (++$msg_counter == 2)
template_ad_position('after_first_post');

$ignoring = false;

replace that with

$ignoring = false;

and finally search for

<a id="lastPost"></a>';

template_ad_position('after_last_post');

replace that with

<a id="lastPost"></a>';

How do I modify files?
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Sad_Angel

should i edit it online or here on local PC, can i use dreamweaver ?
Peace...

xenovanis

Backup your files if you want to edit them online.

I prefer editting on a local machine, not using Dreamweaver since it has a nasty habit messing up php files and changing links.

Install Notepad++ instead to edit the files, it's free and easy to use  ;)

Don't forget to backup your files!
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Sad_Angel

OK i'll try them on that theme and will reply about results.

Thanks for support
