SMF Open ID Support with JanRain Frontend

I want to be able to have a single signon to my website...so that the user signs on and gets access to differnt areas like a custom database and SMF without having to login twice. I want to use Janrain Engage to do this along with an OpenID. But what I cannot figure out is how to authenticate into SMF automatically after Janrain Engage authenticates via OpenID. I can easily authenticate using Janrain via Facebook, Windows Live, Open ID, MyOpenID and others. But how can I get automatically logged into SMF after that Janrain authenication occurs?

Can anyone shed any light on this?
