error message can be changed to work like when you preview or something so that you dont loose what you typed and you can submit it a few seconds later.

15 seconds works well for me, but I keep on going to post sometrhing else less than 15 secs later, and then when I click back, what I typed is gone.

Just a minor niggle.

Yes, that's a good idea. This also will work good for a topic which was closed when you were typing a message...
