Im sorry this may be wrong section as its an add on to smf -

2gb max files upload per member can this be increased?

Just wondering if anyone has needed to lift this, and if so how?

2 gigabyte? or 2 megabyte?

Two gigabyte is huge. And I assume you are talking about the attachments.
Admin>Attachments and Avatars>Attachment Settings

You can set your file size settings there and such. Please note your host might be limiting the max file size attachment too, you can look in your php.ini for that.

yes i meant 2gb, i have the downloads section and would like to add files / iso's of 4.7gb etc.
I have it located in a very fast Cheltenham Data Center ( Saxon Data )

The downloads is an add on to smf.

my php.ini  should allow 9.99gb, not sure if appachi allows that, but at the moment its a limitation to the downloads section as each member is allocated 2gb.

So what mod are you using? As far as I know, download mods bounce off the attachments settings, but I could be wrong. You will have to ask the mod's author.

Have you tried setting the limits in the Admin CP > Attachments and Avatars > Attachment settings?
