Group Leaders

How are they chosen?  The people who lead the groups on the forums are not able to be put as leader?  I wouldn't mind if there were no leaders showing, but with certain people's name showing as bold compared to all else in the group, people are going to the wrong users to get things done.

Ok, to me another admin shows up as leader, and to him I show up as leader.  This is really starting to get confusing on how it works.

Yep, I'm stupid.  That's buddies, not leaders.  Now the site admins feel completely retarded, all good.
