Extended Registration form

Ok I was wondering if there was a way to extend the registration form for my forums like

This is how it looks now



Username: The persons username
   
Email:  the persons email
Allow users to email me: checkbox here

Choose password: the password
   
Verify password: repeated password

The 1 i want now is that but additional questions like

Preferred game: drop down menu with like 3 options

Clan you are in: drop down menu with a list of clans to pick from

Game username: the player's game username can be put here

Favorite Civ: a drop down menu with a list of countries

etc and then put the extra information on the member's profile information and show the information under their username when they post.

I hope I am not being too confusing if I am being unclear please let me know.

Yes, it's possible.

But you'll have to write the code for it yourself, there is no MOD for it.

By default the is an option to add userfields at registration, maybe that can solve at least a part of your question.
You can find it here:

Admin - Configuration - Features and Options - Profile fields.

If you don't have such an option first enable "Advanced Prifle Fields" at Admin - Configuration - Core Features
