Removing topics from "New messages" -list

When new message is posted, it's automatically in unread list, or in latest post list. We have one topic, it's like moderating topic, where every moderation is marked up, so anyone can take a look why their post has been removed, or where it is moved. Is there way to remove this topic from "New messages" -list? So it wouldn't mess up things when people look at latest posts, and there are reply to this topic.

I'm using SMF 2.0 RC3 at address hipit.fi
