Problem installing Mods

Good evening, After installing the SMF 2.0 RC3 installed some mods I wanted but I can not see well in packages of amendments, but after installing I have message:

Set permissions of ./Packages to writable (chmod 0777)

AND make a subdirectory called "temp" in the packages directory, also chmoded 777

Why chmod 777 is NOT a security risk

Although I would still agree that its best to CHMOD to 755, but with some hosts, you need to CHMOD to 777 in order for it to work, but then its best to CHMOD it back onto 755, especially in the case that you are using shared hosting. Which most people do.
