How do I make it so this doesn't pop up when in advance options of setting permissions?

What is the point? Logically, doing it one at a time is best.

Nightfall,

two things.

At first don't bump within 24 hours
At second, give some information. People are trying to help you but when they ask for more info they don't get any response.
It is up to if if somebody is able to help you. No info, no help.
Please, don't PM me for support unless invited.
If you don't understand this, you will be blacklisted.

Ahh sorry I am kinda a noob with this

Okay when ever I go into Admin->Permissions->General Permissions
At the bottom of that page will be a option that says "Advanced Options" and once I fill  it out and press "Set Permissions"  I get an error that says "You can only select one action to modify the permissions"

I wanna know how to get rid of that message to make permissions work.. That's kinda the best I can explain it.. :'(

You are not using the permissions settings menu properly.

There are 4 drop boxes in advanced options:

Add Permission/Clear Permission
- The drop-box on the left hand side is for opting to add or delete a permission. (default setting is add)

With the other 3 drop boxes (you are only supposed to manipulate one of them):

Pre-defined permission set
- Default permission sets for user group 'types'

Set permissions to this group
- When you want to duplicate one groups settings to another

Select a permission
- Single permission setting

Choose add or delete permission then choose one of the other three options.
Use the check boxes from the membergroups shown above the advanced options to choose which membergroup for which you want to add/delete permissions.

Finally use the Set Permissions button to save your changes.
