That's what is confusing me. If I uninstall the old version then install the latest one, isn't that the essentially the same as a new install? Or are previously installed mods kept track of somewhere whether it's currently installed or not?

Yes and no. When uninstalling it isn't removing information from the database. For justin.tv it is safe to ignore doesn't hurt performance or anything and just leave it there.
If you really want it gone though you can go into the the database table for this mod and delete the entry for it.

The video is the same, the first one is the "shortened" link? and the second one the "real" link, after you use it... so, people may use both?

"Automatically link posted URLs" setting must be checked under BBC settings

Remove everything after the numbers that come after ?v= usually it ends with an & and it will work. Note the video must be public.

I think that happens when you use chrome and the "what you see is almost what you get" SMF editor (copy and paste to it)

I have installed this mod today, it's works fine, but i have a problem with Dailymotion, i can't see the video, only the link appears.

Working just fine for me at your link. Do you have dailymotion blocked somewhere ... browser, firewall, ad blocker, etc.?

Also, clear you browser temp files and do a hard refresh (ctrl-F5 on windows).

Sometimes even rebooting the computer will fix weird problems.

The video that is now working is the link, if you quote it/click the link from title of video you'll have the HTTP .

It was surrounded by font tags for some reason, cause my members use the WYSIWYG .

i have removed the mod but footer copyright is not going "Simple Audio Video Embedder" help !!!
