Need a help to move forums to another page

hi boss,
  i need a help from you.
Now i am using smf 2.0 rc3 .
my site is www.4uth.com .. now the forums in main directory...

i want to move this forums to 4uth.com/forums

So how can i...

can i place a new folder in my hosting files & move all the files to it .. will complete? or any installation required.

To prevent real problems the best you can do is copying your files to the new directory.
After that dwnload "repair_settings" from the SMF site, put it in your new forum root and run it within your browser. After that your foum will run properly from the old and the new path. If it is you can remove the old files.

hey got a problem.

after removing files in root directory

site not opening

check once www.4uth.com & www.4uth.com/forum


even i changed files to forum directory it is not working with out files in root directory

actually i need to place wordpress in root directory.

this is the message i am getting after deleting themes folder & some more in root directory

did you run repair_settings.php

also check the Themes\default\index.template.php exists in the forum folder.

Sounds like your theme paths are still incorrect
