Hello

I have enabled post moderation under core features but not too sure how to set it up. Basically i have a certain board that users can post web links into but i want them to be approved by moderators or admins first before they go public Same has this forum has in show off section. How to do this please?

CapadY

Start enabling Board Permissions at Admin - Boards - Settings
Please, don't PM me for support unless invited.
If you don't understand this, you will be blacklisted.

Ye but its happening in all boards and i only want it on one board

CapadY

Bt enabling Board permissions you will be able to set permissions for each seperate board.
If you don't enable that permissions will be set for all boards with the used permissions profile.
Please, don't PM me for support unless invited.
If you don't understand this, you will be blacklisted.

Sorry to be a pain :P But when i do what you said
QuoteStart enabling Board Permissions at Admin - Boards - Settings
all that does is take me here -

Im abit new like so you might have to treat me like a numpty  :-[ for now ;D

Deaks

Admin - boards - find the board you want to change permissions on tehn select permissions - select modify next to regular users then remove the check in Post new topics, without requiring approval

I found "Post new topics" but no where did I find "without requiring approval"
I'm using SMF 2.0 RC3 So me unchecking the "Post new topics" just tells me
that regular users cannot post new topics???
Unless I'm missing something or... if they posted a comment with that unchecked
does it automatically mean I or a moderator must approve it?
