One topic that appears in two different boards

I think i've got a good one for you guys.  Our site has latest news board that we use to post things up to our frontpage/portal page and allow users to browse the latest news without having to go to the individual forum boards to find them.  My problem comes when lets say we post a Blu Ray Disc related news item in the Latest news board but i'd also like to have that topic in the blu ray disscussion board as well since its blu ray related.  Is it possible to get one topic to appear in two boards in SMF?  I really hope i explained this right to you guys, thanks for the help.

ya, i kind of figured.  It'd be a really neat feature enhancement one day.

They might require edits though so they don't go in all boards. I don't think it will ever be a main feature as it is not really required that often, but it could be a mod some day.

Hmm.., i should install more mods

But i doubt this will work for OP, he wouldn't want it to be a announcement all the time.

thats why I said he would probably have to make some edits to it.

And you don't need to install mods, just gotta look at the mod site to see what is available, also spending times on the forums helps to so new mods can be introduced to you.
