settings not being saved.

Ok. for example. when in adminpanel, i checked some boxes and press save, the box will still be unchecked.  Sometimes i have to try 10 or more times to get it to work.
maybe it is something to do with my server?

please help.

Is there anything in your error log? Version of SMF?

no error at all. and running on SMF 2.0 RC3..
its hosted in hostgator. i also have notice that my forum is very slow compare to other forums.

i just deleted two smiley sets. after refreshing the page, the two smiley sets are still there.
ok. after 3 tries, they are gone.

whats the problem? anyway to fix this?

You might be having connection problems with Hostgator, you might want to ask them about this.

In Admin>Server Settings>Enable compressed output>tick that
database and paths>
Use a persistent connection > untick

cookies and sessions>
Enable local storage of cookies> untick
Use subdomain independent cookies> untick
Use database driven sessions > tick
