Hi, ScoutCamper! Welcome!

Oh, dear... Godaddy...

I believe that you'll need to ask them to increase the timeout setting.

Unfortunately, Godaddy seem pretty bad, for this kind of thing. They might refuse...

Good luck!

It says, "Please click HERE to perform the step again", if it is stuck click on it. Normally it works out well after additional few minutes on slow servers, but it isn't really an issue or error. All you have to do is wait.. ;)

scoutcamper

i have been running it for 5hrs with no avail!

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

If it cannot connect to the database it simply cannot connect to your server. Approach your webhost and open a support ticket.

Moving hosts will probably save you lots of time and hair loss.

Hi scoutcamper,

Your site loads awfully slow :( However, it does load the file.

Make sure you enter your database information is entered correct. Right now, it's seems it not.

I removed the url from your previous post  ;)
