Hello,

It seems that I can't install properly a package.

I tried Ad Management mod and Global Headers and Footers. They are installed but i had to create on my ftp a temp directory every time and i don't see them in my admin section.
It's not linked to an authorisation issue my package diretory is set to (0777).

I use the default theme. How can i see them in my admin section ??

thnks

Hi john :)

Are you using any other language than default english as forum language? For instance, do you use utf8 languagefiles?

Can you verify whether the package is installed? You can check that by loggin in to your forumlocation with ftp and see if there are any files ending with a ~ in the /Sources directory.

If you can't find any files ending with a ~, the package is most likely not installed.

There's an issue with the packagemanager that doesn't return any errors even when an package is not installed. This is caused by the targetfiles not being writable. To change this, go to Admin -> Packages -> File Permissions -> Use predefined permission profile -> Free (all files writable)

After doing so, try to install the package again.
