phpBB to SMF problems

Hello,

I had a few problems during my conversion. During the messages conversion it said this:
Converting messages... incomplete.
Yet it still has the count of topics and posts from my phpbb forum?

Also, converting attachments, I am getting this:
Converting attachments... incomplete.

Now, could it be saying this because it could not find some files since my board is very active and depends on attachments and I don't have a backup from today?

Incomplete may just mean that it's not done.  I assume it went on after that and finished?

Yeah, it just kept going and finished. I haven't noticed any problems yet.

Also, is it safe to delete the old attachments directory, or does SMF utilize it still?

It should be fine.  If in doubt, make a backup.  Otherwise, just make a backup.

Ok, now it seems I have another problem when it imported the attachments. My forum has around 30,000 attachments and it "seems" as though the importer did not import any attachments that have filenames with a space in it. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe this was a bug in the 1.0 converter.  It should be fixed in a later release.
