email spam

Hi all,
Running 2.0 RC3
It seems that my email program in SMF has been hacked, and is sending out spam emails with my SMF admin as the "From" address. I can't find a way to check it out, or a setting to turn on or off to stop it.  Is there any way I can track down the source?

Are you sure that it is spam and not just notifications being sent to users about topics, boards and Personal Messages?

How have you determined that your forum is sending spam? Are members reporting that they are getting spam messages that are not notifications?

I am getting failure (address) notifications and returned emails in my admin account. The body of the emails are typical spam links for Viagra..  etc. etc. I suspect it is a "member" bot, but I am not sure.
