Looks like you have duplicate code. Is this a custom theme? If not them just re-upload a clean copy of your display.template.php file.

Its a custom one, and doesnt have display.template.php

It haves:

BoardIndex.template.php
index.php   
index.template.php
MessageIndex.template.php
Settings.template.php
style.css   
theme_info.xml

Does this happen on default theme also ?
what mods do you have installed ?
Any errors in error log ?
