I get this:

Internal Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

whenever I try to access my site's packages area.

I found no error corresponding to it in the log.

please take a look at this page, there you will find some answers regarding 500 errors:

see if that help to solve your problem.

wynnyelle

Thanks or replying, but it isn't helping. It isn't giving me anything specific on where to even look for the error.

mirahalo

there are 8 possibilities,  did you try em all?

I will start by checking my Packages folder or the packages files and see if it has the necessary permissions, as the link above mention,.

wynnyelle

I don't know how to get in there or where to look for the errors. I don't know code.

kat

Try going to Admin>Packages>File permissions and setting them to "Standard".

wynnyelle

Will this erase anything? At all? We recently had all our ultimate profiles erased and I don't even know how it happned. so I'm scared.

By the way I can't GET to the packages page, see topic starter, this is my entire problem.

kat

No, it won't erease anything. :)

Try this link: http://www.yourforumurl.com/index.php?action=admin;area=packages;sa=perms;

and see what happens.

Obviously, you need to change "www.yourforumurl.com" to whatever yours is.

wynnyelle

That worked!!!!!!!

So what do I do now to get around the initial problem? Someone tole me its abotu main.js but I don't know what that is.

I can't even find that file.

Is it part of a mod, or something?
