Into your control panel of your host. Or through ftp.

This was addressed by Flamer {my awesome host} and he says that some kind of action made, triggered the software's anti hacker protection into setting all the forum on a 777 setting.

You might also wanna check server load, your forum is quite large.

Thank you, yes but it was not server load. We determined that the forum's settings had put the site itself off limits. But yes we have had traffic problems before.
