Missing BBC Bar

Can anyone help me please.
I removed my theme and re-installed it but now missing the bbc bar.
what file or files contain the info for the bbc to show?

hmm, try putting the curve theme back and re-install. looks like theres something missing there...
anyways if the problem still occurs then re-post here and someone will answer.
EDIT:and i think theres something in  admin about topics and allowed formats in it.. check if bbc is allowed or not.. i  checked my forum and found that..

hello just as a test i changed my theme back to (smf default theme) & the same problem is there as well?
where in the admin section is the option you talked about? I seem to not be able to find it.

I found the problem my self
/smf/Themes/default/scripts folder needed to be set to 755
now the BBC bar works again
