Hi.

Logs on my SMF2 was turned off, and somebody deleted user account.

Is there any way to find out who?

I have RAW access log from cpanel, is there any way to use that.

I don't believe I'll found anything, but it's better to ask. :(

Thanks in advance. Help appreciated.

kat

If you have a reasonably recent backup of the database, maybe we could find them from that?

Robin Hood

That wouldn't help, log is turned off for some time, and that account is deleted last night.

kat

In the old database, he/she would still be shown as a member, though.

Robin Hood

It's not point to get him back, it's point to know who did it and don't want to say. :D

kat

Do things, like that, show up in the moderation log?

Probably not, thinking about it.

What about the server logs?

Robin Hood

Both moderation and administrations log were disabled (by default).

Server log... I thought that it might can be helpful, I don't know what it logs.

So there isn't any way to find out if moderation and administration log were off?

kat

I'm not sure what's logged in your site's CPanel. All hosts are different, I'd assume.

Try going to your CPanel. You'll see a selection of logs, there.

Long-shot, but it MAY be worth contacting your host. The'll have logs of their own.
