Advanced tables.

Is there anyway - with a mod or not - to make advanced BBcode tables, with borders, custom backgrounds, etc, like below --

-- (aware that isn't SMF, just a good demonstration of what I mean) in SMF? I've not been able to find a way, no more than basic tables... and I do know how to make tables.
