How To Change Default Members Notification Rules

Hi,

I would like all registered members to receive a mail notification for every reply to topics they are subscribed in. I know they can select the option "Notify me of replies" but I want this option to be enabled by default.

Please tell me how.

Admin > Themes & Layout > Member Options > Configure guest and new user options for this theme and Change current options for all members using this theme

Change the settings for new users, then for current users.

I could not locate where I can set this.

I want my members to receive notification by default. That is to say any post they make their, they will always get notification each time there is a reply!

This board is 2.x not 1.x.  Don't bump topics after long periods of time.
