Error . undefined index :register_vars

This only happen when someone registers. I have checked that line of code and compared it to a new one from a clean file, they are both the same.

Many of them.

This started as soon as i uninstalled the referral system http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1114.
I uninstalled it because i wanted to install the current version there.

i m thinking that maybe the unistallation didnt remove every piece of code from the files.
But then the current version is different from the one i removed.
i changed my theme/register.template.php with a fresh one.
the error still occurs.

Looks like it's down to the referrals mod, then, sadly.

If you go to the mod's download page and check the parser, you can check that the required edits have been made.

If that was the very last mod you installed, (assuming you didn't backup, first), you could try this:

I uninstalled the mod not installed.

yes... but did it fully uninstall and cleanly uninstall?  That is the point....   I suspect that one of your mods either did not fully install or the referrals mod did not cleanly uninstall...
