issues with beta release smf2.0 rc3

folks
1. the url mentioned in the configuration for the installed directory of smf is not what is being sent out in the email
2. On login in firefox and chrome in the center of the page ( i have disabled guest browsing the smf)

and one needs to referesh the page... and all is fine
however the login works great when using the top left login box

any idea what is happening

any mods installed?

the url given in the email is the one that will be used for much of the rest of smf, so it should work unless its been modified

could also try repair-settings: What is repair_settings.php?
