i m using smf 2.0 rc3

hacker hacked my host and  replaced all index files to his index.

my host said me to upload all index files again to my site

i uploaded all files in themes/default folder of smf then also my site got error.

Use a large upgrade package and overwrite all the files ( except Settings.php ) in forum root.

Also change all your passwords

NOTE: All modifications will be lost !

does my all themes will also lost if i do large upgrade?and wat about my posta and topic,members etc.........

you get it from the downloads area

your themes will not be lost but any mods applied to those themes will not work properly

posts, topics, members etc are preserved

i already using smf rc3 then why to again upgrade to smf rc3?

why my site not working even i upoaded all files having inside themes folder?

and also i uploaded all files again attachments,cache, etc......

because the upgrade will ensure you have a completely fresh *untampered* set of files

YOu are not doing it correctly then !

Make sure all old files ( themes & sources ) are replaced with New ones and are readable

Were you using a non default / custom theme ? have you re installed it ?

YOur site gives a template parsing error, meaning its related to theme templates, so make sure you have fresh non tampered theme files.

yes i was using non default theme and also i uploaded that theme again then also it not working.

i just changed it to default theme and it worked now.but  also 1 problem came that core theme not working


but my other themes not working and also i uploaded theme from admin panel

Please define "not working" , what does it do when you change the theme ?
