little small question

well sorry for the many threads that i made today 
i switched the host so i faced many problems now i am fine..
as i said the function: php_sapi_name()
is disabled at my host, NO WAY TO CHANGE THE HOST.
it didnt affect anything, you know..
BUT
my error log becomes toooooooo full with it
like 50000 errors per day, that makes me say WTF
how i disable that error from appearing?

actually, my question now is: disable the error so it doesn't appear at the log. like"ignore error"

actually i want just this function to get removed : php_sapi_name()
EDIT:and of course.. i tryed removing it and a small other error in the error log came saying : cgi or something and a long error. so i didt remove the code properly..
can anyone do it? the file is attached up..
and explaining what that piece of code does really helps..

php_sapi_name isn't an smf function, its a php one

seems to be to do with working out how php is running on the seerver  - which affects how the rest of it works so its not just a simple change to remove it

ask your host to put it back becuase there's really no security benefit to it and if your host is that dumb you really should reconsider because if they're dumb enough for that, what other stupid things might they do?

yes, i actually think that they are dumb... all things (extensions) and every php function is allowed except safe ones.. WTF
but, theres many smf forums there and we reported the error like 4 times, no reply i will mark this as solved because, if i can't remove the code, my problem is now with the server

Mail() allowed , fsocket or something allowed, .java , .mp3, .vbs and all extensions are allowed.. lawl
