users can't see poll options

I am administrator on a forum and i can see everything like it should be. Yet the other users see some errors.

for example a poll, the users are not able to see the options. I tried using another theme, but that wouldn't work.
I have the same problem in lists.

Yes, and i am using an utf-8 dutch language pack.

did you convert from non-utf-8 or install directly as utf-8?

I installed the forum directly as utf-8.

theres no reaso ni can see why it shouldnt work properly - the normal cause is the forum reporting it is utf-8 but teh database not being in utf-8

go into phpmyadmin and look at the tables in there to see what collation they ahve listed

It says 'latin1_swedish_ci'.
Should changing this work?

Is it possible to change all tables at once?

well that explains your problem at least - the forum thinks it's in utf-8 but it actually isn't, it's still in an iso encoding

you'll have to change every text column in every table to make it work right... unless you can get to admin > maintenance > database and find a convert to utf-8 option there
