News fader - Grainy with Internet Explorer

For some reason the images and text in the news fader looks very bad with Internet Explorer but nice and smooth with all other browsers. Anyone else have that issue?

Hi lazylivin,

Definitely a case for using IE8 in Compatability mode. It's not SMF's fault, it's because Billy Boy and his gang make all sorts of changes to their browser software with little or no regard for other software.

Do experiment too with bbc code or html which can really liven up a Newsfader - colours, italics, bold, different font sizes, gifs - but the codes do have to be entered manually.
