Many of my users are receiving this error:

406 Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /board/index.php could not be found on this server

When I remove the "?PHPSESSID=f335b163fdf231b35fc5f614c7327855;" from the URLs everything works...

My host thinks it's because you're using semi-colons in the URL... Is this new?

I don't care who's to blame, but, I'd like this fixed somehow... Any ideas?

I did have a look at your site earlier and had it happen to me but coudn't work out why. Can your host not give me of a clue as to what rule is blocking it? It appears to be the semicolon at the end (I think) - but that shouldn't break even the most ridiculous security policy.

Could you ask them what part of the server is blocking it, and what rule it is?
I'm only a half geek really...

Well, SMF is a big boy and knows how to protect itself.  The session cookie attack check shouldn't be necessary for SMF; it already makes sure the SESSID is valid.

You could simply change the session name, I suppose.

Did you try the .htaccess change?  What happened?

Most hosts don't install this getting-less-obscure "security by filtering" module into Apache.  It's not a default feature or anything.
