Removing Send Topic & Email Member Buttons

I am looking to remove send topic button for each post and the email button to send to emails to memebers.
We are running SMF 2.0 RC3.  I realize the later may be managed by the admin but my theme seems to not reflect the setting ins in the admin. 

any suggestions via admin or code would be appreciated.

Both are found as a permission in Admin -> Members -> Permission. Just disallow these for the membergroups you don't want to have this possibility:
- Send topics to friends
- Send a forum email to members
