phpbb/coppermine to smf/coppermine

I have been looking into converting my phpbb board into a SMF board, I know many people have made this conversion relatively easy.

I have a Coppermine database that is presently integrated to pull the users from the phpbb database.  I wonder if anyone has made the transition from phpbb with a coppermine intergration to SMF.  I worry the current user albums will wind up getting "orphaned" as Coppermine might not see the users (now under SMF database) as the same users when it was phpbb.

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but my experience with scripts is very limited, and wonder if the trouble will be worth it.

I'm not sure what would be that different.  I don't know about Coppermine, but converting phpBB to SMF should be almost exactly the same.

The ids will remain the same for your members, so I should hope they wouldn't be orphaned.

Thanks I get it working.  It actually was easier to connect to SMF than it was to PHPBB.
