2 SI Chat Problems

recently I upgraded my forum to SMF 2.0 RC4 just to see whether my packages problem wud pop up again,. and yet still, it did! I then manuakky edited the file to install 2 si chat and after all that, It doesnt appear on the index page. Please help me!!!

folder and file permissions. FTP to your site and try this.
2sichat 755
2sichat/index.php 755
2sichat/body.js.php 755
2sichat/head.js.php 755
2sichat/cache 755
2sichat/themes/default/index.php 755

Make sure that all the files is upload

Open index.template.php in the theme

Find

Code Select

</head>

Add Before

Code Select

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.your-site.com/path_to_forum/2sichat/index.php?action=head"></script>

find

Code Select

<body>

add after

Code Select

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.your-site.com/path_to_forum/2sichat/index.php?action=body"></script>

You just have to follow the step by step as mention in the OP of that mod support thread. It will work just fine. If you still didn't work check your modifications step by step again. Permissions of files and folders are always the cause for me but do check for files modifications as well as stated above.
