Ok so Im looking to sync logging in with my two databases but first problem i encounter is the Cookies (Which isnt my forte). Next is the actual retrieving the info to see if that person is logged in. Any advice to make this simple?

actually.. ive been working on it and its not two forums its a separately built site (in PHP) but we just uploaded SMF on the domain. SO i have no idea how im gunna go about changing that
