2.0 RC4 - Problem with Language

Hi,

I upgraded from 2.0 RC2 tot 2.0 RC4.

Few template problems, but not really serious so far.

But the language section is. When I want to go to the 'Language' in the admin I get this error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare template_init() (previously declared in /home/jamaifrm/public_html/Sources/Load.php(2156) : eval()'d code:32) in /home/jamaifrm/public_html/Themes/default/languages/index.template.php on line 66

Most of the forum is in Dutch, but parts of the help section are in English (between Dutch sections).

Anyone suggestions?

As error is saying redeclare, it indicates that there is some duplicate code that you need to remove.  Look for "template_init()" in the indicated file.  It's possible that you may need to disable the template eval so the file that is causing the error is indicated.

It's weird: when I look for the file .../public_html/Themes/default/languages/index.template.php I can't find it on that location.

I did not delete any files in this folder.

How come?

There's no "template_init()" in sources/load.php

Have you made any recent modifications and what mods do you have installed.

It's possible that you may need to disable the template eval so the file that is causing the error is indicated.

Administration Center » Server Settings » General -- Disable evaluation of templates
After that post the error here.

Why do you got a index.template.php inside a languages folder? The code is evaluated, meaning it doesn't exist in Load.php, Load.php is merely evaluating the template. Since you upgraded from RC2 to RC4, make sure ALL the files are properly overwritten.

I installed Aeva Media, AjaxChat Integration and SimpleAd

When I disable the template evaluation as you suggested I get the same error message as mentioned above when I want to go to the language section in the Admin menu. Or should I look elsewhere for the error message?

The error occurred after the upgrade from RC2 to RC4.

No, I don't have an index.template.php in my languages folder. I never did anything in that folder, except installing the Dutch language files after the upgrade.

I never said to disable template evaluation, just overwrite every files(Re-perform the upgrade) and re-do the modifications. Mostly it seems you performed the installation actions of a mod twice.

No other way to find out what going on?

I also found this message in the error log:

More same messages like this also are in the log, but with different line numbers (line 1937, 1924, 1925, 1815 and more).

Could this something to do with the help-file language problem?

Have you made a upgrade again as suggested by Dragooon,If not I would also suggest you to grab a large upgrade pack and upgrade your forum again.
