database got deleted

i ran into a problem with my site

my host some how or what ever my database got deleted so i imported my back up one that i made using the smf one in the board now i have a problem

when i imported it i got this error

ok after that i kinda left it go and went to the site and on the main page it loaded this

Table 'dirtypor_smf203.smf_settings' doesn't exist

now i can't seem to find what is causing that problem i hate to lose my whole forum there is over 4000 post and the new members i do have now.

i was thinking of just putting the new 2-0-rc4 in but lot of the mods i have in there don't work with it  yet.

Try removing the database and importing it via ssh.

not everyone has ssh or is on a dedicated server to have ssh. your admin control panel for your host should provide you the access to do what you want.

i don't have that and not even sure what that is

is it able to lets say put up a new forum like 2.0.rc4 and then add stuff from my db to it like the forum topics members and so on

can I ask is your db complete?  open your sql directory using notepad or such and make sure there is no error at the end

no errors that it is showing

You can delete the data for that db table as it is not really necessary and the import might go smoother without it.
