Inside that theme's "css" directory, you want index.css, I believe.

It's well commented. So, you should find the bits you want quite easily.

Just remember to keep a copy of the original file, as a backup.

In addition...a tool that really helps you find which class or id to edit is FireBug for FireFox, or a built in tool in Chrome.
