about smileys

guys I have a small question which I'm not really sure how to look for because there's no any official questions when it comes to this..

could someone tell me how could I set smiley hotkeys in the posts??

To clarify my question I'll use examples:

so here is the first one.. if I type ":" followed by ")" I will get a smile smiley ""
and if I put  "8" and ")" I will get cool smiley ""

so now I want to install my own custom set of smileys and I want them to have custom hotkeys.. so how could I do that?
