Good day. I have a new question. How do i bold or adjust the size of text in the EmailTemplates.english.php file.
THis it what the bottom looks like now.

Nope. Treid it now. doesnt work. At the bottom of the email it shows the tag.

the emails that smf sends out are text only and not html, so adding those tags will do nothing.

They are not text only. An example (line 14):

i have not gotten any emails from any smf based forum in anything but text.

no i have no use to test this myself at this time, and my test setup does not have a mail server.
