new nav at top of page

Is it possible to put navigational links at the top of the page above the header bar (someCompany.com & Simple Machines Forum)? If I could do that I could have the forum open up within our website's existing window instead of opening a new window. I realize that the code/pages are being dynamically included into index.php so it makes it difficult to know where I can put a simple div tag with links.
