Request notification on replies not showing check box

After you click new topic my "Request notification on replies"  check box is not showing.

In Notifications I have it check to show Request notification on replies in the Members > Manage Permissions > General Permissions - "Regular Members"  section.

Is there someting else I should have done?

Click 'Additional options under the post body and it is there. If you have tried that are you on the default theme or a custom ?

Duh, there it is. Thanks and what's sad is I've used that before, jezz, sorry.

The reason I asked was I went to another smforum phpfreaks.com and theirs displays without having to click "Attachments and other options".

Do you know how they display their options without the user having to click "Attachments and other options"?

If you go to Admin > Current theme then theme settings and disable the option to enable collapsible additional options it should show by default.
